Dr. Lara and his entire staff are the best. I reached out to several plastic surgeons and did my homework on their backgrounds, experience, etc. I decided to go with Dr. Lara because he had the highest ratings with a lot of experience. In addition, I worked with his Patient Coordinator, Itchtel. Her attentiveness and willingness to answer ALL of my questions let me know that they were the hospital for me. Dr. Lara called me to as well and that was a bonus (most of Dr.'s assistants call in my experience). When I arrived, I was met with kindness from everyone from the staff to the cardiologist to the anesthesiologist, to Dr. Lara. It's only day one, but I feel great, my body looks great even with the expected swelling and bruising. If I ever need anything again or get the chance to recommend a plastic surgeon, it will be him!
Best doctor ever ! Had a tummy tuck and Lipo and the scar is so fine almost faded hasn’t even been a year! He is smart, sweet and professional ! Would recommend 100%
My wife had a broken Pinky and of course we didnt have any health insurance. After carefully looking over reviews online I got into contact with Dr. Ontiveros and he was able to provide us with details and how much it would cost us to fix her broken pinky. Dr Ontiveros was able to get us into a room and started the procedure. From beginning to end doctor was very professional and was with us 100% of the time and made sure we felt comfortable. Me and my wife definitely recommend this doctor he tells you how it is. Thanks Doctor!! - Mark
It was definitely the best decision to go to Dr. Felipe Garcia. If you are in Ensenada and have a problem that requires surgery, you can certainly go with him.
He did a magnificent job with my eyes, cheekbones, and nose. Dr. Rodas has many years of experience, he is trustworthy, cleanliness, above all caring when it comes to his patients. I highly recommend him without a doubt.
I have hated my lower eye bags for years. Now at age 59 I decided to do something about it. My cousin who is an RN and esthetician in the Bay Area recommended Dr. Juan Carlos Fuentes, who operates at a clinic in Tijuana, Mexico. Via a virtual consultation, whereby I sent him photographs and details of what I was seeking, he returned a price quote and details of the procedure he recommended, Transconjunctival Blepharoplasy. My assigned contact there, Yesenia, was knowledgeable and prompt getting back to me with answers to all my emailed questions. I decided to go ahead, and traveled to his lovely, state-of-the-art clinic, Cosmed, in Tijuana to first have the required lab tests done, and then returned 2 weeks later for the surgery. From start to finish he and his staff were professional and compassionate. The surgery lasted an hour, under local anesthesia with a sedative. I was discharged that day with stiches and surgical tape to keep them in place. I followed instructions, applied icepacks and took it very easy for a few days. I returned 5 days later to have the stitches removed, and was stunned by the dramatic improvement so soon after the procedure. The rapid healing and minor swelling and bruising I attribute to Dr. Fuentes’ masterful skills and long experience doing cosmetic surgery. I returned to work after 6 days and my coworkers were all amazed at the difference and how good I looked. Today is 8 days after, and I still can’t believe it when I look in the mirror. The whole experience and improvement far surpassed my expectations, and I heartily recommend Dr. Fuentes and Cosmed for any cosmetic surgery you may be considering. He partners with a few other surgeons at the clinic, who are also tops in their specialties. I saved thousands of dollars compared to what I’d have paid here in the US, and got a world-class result. Thank you, Dr. Fuentes and Cosmed!
I am so happy with the care and support that I received from all of the staff at Oasis of Hope. From the first day I made the decision to have my surgery to even now, the doctors and staff have taken great care to ensure my health and safety. I sincerely wish I knew the names of each and every one of the nurses, doctors, and staff that cared for me so I could personally thank them. I found communicating with the staff very easy, as most of them are fluent in English. I never had an issue with not being understood by staff, even the ones that were not fluent in English. Dr. Gonzales explained the procedure and asked if I had any questions. He really took the time to make sure I had a full understanding of what was being done. The hospital rooms are simple and unadorned with more than enough space to provide a comfortable stay. The shower has lots of hot water and fresh towels. Also, the room had a Lennox wall air conditioner that kept my room very comfortable. As for the hospital itself, it exudes an air of calm and peace. The only people that bustled about were the cleaning staff that cleaned everything in sight. Very Clean!! I walked around the day before my surgery and peeked into rooms with open doors. I found very modern-looking and new equipment. Nothing looked old or outdated. After my surgery, I always knew which doctor was in charge of my care and they can in the room to check on me. There was a doctor available to me 24/7 while I was at Oasis of Hope. All in all, I had a wonderful experience and can't wait to return for my body contouring surgery in a year!!
Super sweet and helpful doctor. My cousin recommended him. She has also had work done with him and her results are amazing. He took me in last minute after I had another doctor who kept rescheduling me, I went Dr. Ramirez. He has no idea how much this surgery meant to me. I cried when I was done because I have wanted this so long and my other dr did not do a good job. Thank you so much Dr. Ramirez and staff, for being so kind and accommodating.
Good experience, very good medical care, clean facilities, in waiting room cubrebocas they give you what I think is excellent to prevent disease within the hospital

Arm liposuction is a targeted fat removal procedure performed to eliminate excessive fat concentrated in the arm area that is hard to eliminate by exercise or diet. This procedure can give your arms a slimmer appearance. As a result, the rest of your body will look and feel more contoured and sculpted. Although arm liposuction can be done on both men and women, it is more commonly done on women.
Aging, weight gain, weight loss, or genetics can cause fat to build up in the upper arm area. Oftentimes, the fat is combined with loose skin, creating a flappy and "batwing" appearance. This can make your arm appear out of balance with the rest of your body. Regardless of how much working out and dieting you do, concentrated fat in the arms can be difficult to get rid of. This is where liposuction steps in and offers a solution to remove these unwanted fat cells. It is one of the best ways to achieve the desired slim look while maintaining proper body proportions without damaging the muscles.
The goal of arm liposuction is not to remove the maximum possible amount of fat since arms that are excessively thin with an otherwise overweight or obese body might appear unnatural and awkward instead of attractive. The main goals of arm liposuction are as follows:
Arm liposuction can be performed on various areas in the arms, including:
The axillary regions (anterior axillary fat pad and posterior axillary fat pad) need to be addressed in conjunction with the triceps region to avoid an awkward appearance, particularly when you wear snug garments like a bra. Since there are neurovascular structures in the axillary regions that may be damaged by arm liposuction, your surgeon will be extra cautious when performing the procedure in this area.
In Mexico, the cost of Arm Liposuction varies widely based on a number of variables. The complexity of the treatment, the surgeon's experience, the clinic's location, and whether or not your health insurance coverage will cover all or part of the costs could be some of these factors. The entire cost structure, including pre-procedure diagnostics, surgeon fees, anaesthesia, operating room supplies, and follow-up appointments, should thus be thoroughly researched.
Never forget to double-check the costs involved and weigh the benefits against the dangers and expenses before coming to a conclusion. It is critical to realise that, rather than the cost of the operation, the key factors impacting the success rate of your Arm Liposuction should be your health and the skill set of your surgeon.
Prior to the arm liposuction procedure, you will have an initial consultation with your surgeon. During this consultation, your surgeon will answer all of your questions, ask about your expectations and concerns, and explain the procedures' benefits and risks. They will also determine whether you are an ideal candidate for arm liposuction or not. You are suitable for this procedure if you:
During the initial consultation, your surgeon will also give you pre-surgical instruction, which may include:
During the arm liposuction procedure, your surgeon will start by marking the area of the arm to be treated. They may also take pictures to compare the before and after results. Then, you will be given a local anesthetic, which only numbs the area of the treatment while you stay awake. Sedation may also be given to help you feel comfortable and relaxed throughout the procedure. In certain cases, a general anesthetic may be used so that you will be asleep and unaware of anything during the procedure.
Then, your surgeon will begin the fat removal. There are numerous techniques to perform arm liposuction, but the most common technique is the tumescent technique, which involves the injection of a sterile solution (tumescent fluid) in the treatment area. This fluid numbs and softens the fat for easier removal.
With the tumescent technique, the fat of the arm is taken from two incisions, near the elbow joint and toward the back of the underarm. This approach is used to meticulously eliminate all unwanted fat while making sure to maintain control over the arms’ contours. Then, a cannula is inserted through the incisions. This cannula breaks up and suctions excess fat in your arms while the skin, blood vessels, muscles, and nerves are left completely intact.
In most arm liposuction, fat is removed from only 75% of the arm's circumference. This follows the normal fat distribution pattern in most women's arms. In heavier patients, however, the entire circumference of the arm may be targeted.
Once your surgeon finishes removing the fat, they will close the incisions with stitches and cover them with bandages
Following a Arm Liposuction, the suggested length of stay in Mexico is mostly influenced by the patient's general health, the complexity of the treatment, and the rate of recovery. After surgery, it is usually advised to stay put for at least a week to allow for early healing and to attend any required follow-up appointments. Doctors can keep an eye on the situation and ensure a speedy recovery during this time.
The healing process is greatly influenced by elements like age, general health, lifestyle choices, and adherence to post-procedure instructions. Therefore, it is crucial to take these considerations into account while making travel plans.
The recovery duration after a Arm Liposuction in Mexico greatly depends on the patient's health, surgical intricacy, and adherence to post-operative care guidelines. Generally, patients can revert to normal activities within a couple of weeks post-surgery, but complete healing might require several weeks to a few months. Following post-operative instructions carefully is vital in hastening recovery and ensuring optimal results.
Your surgeon and medical team will give you detailed aftercare instructions following your arm liposuction. Make sure to follow everything to avoid complications and achieve the best results. The instructions may include:
The outcome of arm liposuction can be permanent as the fat cells are completely removed during the procedure. However, putting extra weight back on will create new fat cells, which will eventually cause fat to accumulate in your arms. To maintain the results of your arm liposuction, it is essential that you follow a healthy lifestyle. This includes consuming lots of lean protein, vegetables, fruits, and whole grains. You also need to exercise regularly
Arm liposuction has excellent clinical results, and most people who had the procedure are satisfied with the results. The procedure is also known to be very safe. However, you need to be aware that arm liposuction carries risks and complications, such as infection, fat embolism, allergic reaction, adverse reaction to anesthesia, seroma, scarring, contour irregularities, and loose skin.
Since arm liposuction requires a refined and greatly delicate approach to ensure patients achieve their goals, the skills and experience of the surgeon are crucial. Therefore, make sure you choose a board-certified plastic surgeon with experience to get the best desired results and reduce the possibility of complications
CoolSculpting, a minimally invasive process that doesn't require anaesthesia, incisions, or needles, is one of the most popular alternatives to arm liposuction. If arm liposuction is not an option for you or if you don't want to have surgery, this is a great alternative.
An arm lift or upper arm Brachioplasty might be a preferable choice if the area around the arm has any drooping skin or skin laxity concerns. During this process, the area's loose skin is tightened. In some circumstances, an arm lift and arm liposuction may be done simultaneously.
Your surgeon will walk you through the process before to the Arm Liposuction, describing potential risks and expected results depending on your unique traits and goals. In the days or weeks before your treatment, you might also need to stop taking some medications and adhere to certain dietary restrictions.
You might have some degree of soreness, swelling, and bruising following the Arm Liposuction. But these signs usually go away after a few weeks. It is also anticipated that the area will be wrapped in bandages or compression clothing to reduce swelling and support the arms' new form. Your healthcare professional will also set up a follow-up programme, to which the patient is expected to adhere rigorously. Maintaining a healthy lifestyle that includes regular exercise and a balanced diet is essential.
Arm Liposuction is not a weight loss method; rather, it is a cosmetic operation intended to remove extra fat from specific places, in this example, the arms. Although some patients may have a slight weight loss following surgery, the main goal of these treatments is to shape and contour the body, not necessarily to lower body weight.
Consistent exercise, a balanced diet, and a healthy lifestyle must all be used to manage weight over the long term. Additionally, keep in mind to see a doctor before making any significant adjustments to your weight-loss programmes or thinking about an elective surgery like a Arm Liposuction.

Mexico, in its vastness, doesn't possess a uniform climate throughout the nation. Various regions exhibit distinct weather patterns, which are inextricably linked to their geographical features. Given Mexico's immense size, it's unsurprising that the climate varies significantly across different locations. The periodic patterns across the nation are not homogenous, as one would expect in a smaller, less diverse country. Instead, Mexico’s topography, which is incredibly varied, heavily influences the country’s diverse weather and climate.
In terms of seasonality, Mexico traditionally experiences two major seasons - the rainy season and the dry season. Each of these seasons presents its own unique set of conditions and weather patterns, shaping the climate across the country in distinctive ways. The shifts between these periods of rain and periods of drought are quite pronounced, showcasing the climatic dualism that shapes the Mexican landscape. This cyclical pattern of rainy and dry seasons is a key part of Mexico's climatic identity, having profound effects on both its environment and the livelihood of its inhabitants.
The easiest way to reach Mexico is through Mexico City International Airport, which is also referred to as Benito Juarez International Airport, which is the busiest airport in Mexico. For travel within Mexico, air travel is the best mode considering the vast size of the country. Budget airlines like Avolar, Azteca, Interjet, vivaAerobus, and Volaris offer competitive and cheap airfares for domestic travel.
You can navigate between cities via local buses and rental cars, making the journey a part of your Mexican adventure. However, for a quicker commute, the metro system prevails as the fastest mode of transport. This web of fast trains bridges the gap between major cities including Mexico City, Guadalajara and Monterrey, ensuring convenient and expedient transportation.
Navigating through Mexico City is fairly simple and cost-effective, courtesy of its inexpensive public transport system. You can choose from a variety of transport modes, including the Metro, first and second-class buses, colectivos, and Nissan Tsuru libre taxis.
However, if you prefer sitio taxis, it is advised not to hail one from the street after dark for safety reasons. Furthermore, for those not fluent in Spanish or unfamiliar with the city's layout, it is highly recommended to use taxis from Taxi Ranks, ensuring a smoother and more secure journey.
