I highly recommend Dr Chan Jan Bond. On top of being an excellent surgeon, he is also a caring and kind doctor. I had been postponing cataract surgery as the thought of having surgery in my eye was daunting. Dr Chan took the time to explain the surgery in detail and cleared all my doubts. A short 2 weeks from then, I had completed cataract surgery on both my eyes and am very happy with my vision. The whole experience had been pleasant and comfortable. I'm so lucky to have found Dr Chan. Many thanks to him and everyone in ISEC who made this journey easy for me.
All the staff is excellent, they are professional and caring.
Staffs are very kind and responsible, great quality service! I’ve been getting a five star service in five years now! Keep up!
Very good customer service. The doctor is also kind and professional. The clinic is very clean and comfortable. I am overall extremely satisfied. :)
Friendly and caring doctors with good service in a clean environment
I have been coming for treatment for my right eye for a few years now..From the time I enter the clinic till my appointment is done, I have always had first class treatment from Doctor Mano and his TEAM and nurses! Each and everyone of them are kind, helpful, understanding, patience, professional , with all our frustration and fears. Talking to Dr Mano's team, I hear nothing but high respect and great words of praise for Dr. Mano. Good team work and spirits. I did one laser and countless jabs in my right eyeball, doc Mano is very kind and professional and has taken good care of my eye as it is healing more and more but though I know I won't get 100% vision I am happy with the good news given. I would highly recommend Doc Mano and team THEY ARE TRULY THE BEST!!!
Came here for eye pain. The entire team is very friendly and the process was stress-free. Very knowledgeable doctor. Have lots of feedback and made me understand the cause of pain. 2 days after the visit I was back to normal .
Saya ingin bertanya , adakah di hospital ini ada mempunyai rawatan HEP C ?
Very good experience. Walked in and was attended quickly. Staff was very courteous and doctor is very good.
Best clinic ever. Amazing doctor, friendly nurses, cozy waiting area, good lounge music (Ghibli ost), overall great experience. Would recommend and would come again.

Ophthalmology is a branch of medicine and surgery that focuses on the diagnosis and treatment of eye disorders. Medically trained doctors who care for patients who have eye and vision conditions are called ophthalmologists and are the only practitioners diagnosed and trained to treat all eye and vision problems. Their practice is very diverse, dealing with a wide range of issues and clinical conditions. Some of the most common conditions that they treat and manage include:
An ophthalmologist can offer a wide range of medical services, including surgical eye procedures. Some of the most common procedures that ophthalmologists perform are as follows:
Your length of stay depends on the type of treatment you undergo. In general, you may need to stay in Kuala Lumpur for at least a week or to let your eyes recover and to attend follow-up checkups, where your ophthalmologist checks your condition and make sure that your eyes are healing properly. If everything is fine, they will allow you to leave for home. However, for some surgery, such as retinal detachment surgery, you should avoid flying until your eyes have fully healed. Therefore, it is best that you wait 3 to 4 weeks, sometimes even longer, before you travel home.
Recovery time depends on the type of surgery you underwent, your age, and overall health. It is generally recommended to rest your eyes for a few days. With LASIK, you may be able to return to work after a day. After a corneal transplant, you should wait for 2 to 3 weeks until you go back to work.
Your ophthalmologist will give you instructions to care for your eye after the procedure. It is crucial that you follow all of them to have a quick recovery and obtain optimum results. To keep the result or to prevent complications, you will need to make some lifestyle changes, such as avoid smoking and staying active. You also need to attend regular checkups, typically once a year, with your local eye doctor or your ophthalmologist in Kuala Lumpur.
Thanks to the continuous advancement of ophthalmology, eye treatments, and surgeries are now highly successful and safe. For instance, the latest research of LASIK showed that it has a 99% success rate in achieving 20/40 vision or better, whereas the success rate of corneal transplant is as high as 90%. However, it is important to be aware of the risks and side effects of eye treatments and surgeries, such as dry eyes, temporary visual problems, overcorrections, under correction, astigmatism, regression, and, very rarely, vision loss.
For some eye problems, you may be able to go to an optometrist as an alternative. However, if your conditions need to be treated through surgery, your optometrist will refer you to an ophthalmologist.
