Dr. Lara and his entire staff are the best. I reached out to several plastic surgeons and did my homework on their backgrounds, experience, etc. I decided to go with Dr. Lara because he had the highest ratings with a lot of experience. In addition, I worked with his Patient Coordinator, Itchtel. Her attentiveness and willingness to answer ALL of my questions let me know that they were the hospital for me. Dr. Lara called me to as well and that was a bonus (most of Dr.'s assistants call in my experience). When I arrived, I was met with kindness from everyone from the staff to the cardiologist to the anesthesiologist, to Dr. Lara. It's only day one, but I feel great, my body looks great even with the expected swelling and bruising. If I ever need anything again or get the chance to recommend a plastic surgeon, it will be him!

Dr. Jorge Serrano is a very talented, empathetic, and excellent physician and surgeon for “medical tourists” like myself. He speaks fluent English.His medical office is well appointed with the latest medical equipment, and located in a modern office building just minutes from the border.His practice includes cosmetic and general surgery. I have hated my lower eye bags for years. Now at age 59 I decided to do something about it. My cousin who is an RN and esthetician in the Bay Area recommended Dr. Juan Carlos Fuentes, who operates at a clinic in Tijuana, Mexico. Via a virtual consultation, whereby I sent him photographs and details of what I was seeking, he returned a price quote and details of the procedure he recommended, Transconjunctival Blepharoplasy. My assigned contact there, Yesenia, was knowledgeable and prompt getting back to me with answers to all my emailed questions. I decided to go ahead, and traveled to his lovely, state-of-the-art clinic, Cosmed, in Tijuana to first have the required lab tests done, and then returned 2 weeks later for the surgery. From start to finish he and his staff were professional and compassionate. The surgery lasted an hour, under local anesthesia with a sedative. I was discharged that day with stiches and surgical tape to keep them in place. I followed instructions, applied icepacks and took it very easy for a few days. I returned 5 days later to have the stitches removed, and was stunned by the dramatic improvement so soon after the procedure. The rapid healing and minor swelling and bruising I attribute to Dr. Fuentes’ masterful skills and long experience doing cosmetic surgery. I returned to work after 6 days and my coworkers were all amazed at the difference and how good I looked. Today is 8 days after, and I still can’t believe it when I look in the mirror. The whole experience and improvement far surpassed my expectations, and I heartily recommend Dr. Fuentes and Cosmed for any cosmetic surgery you may be considering. He partners with a few other surgeons at the clinic, who are also tops in their specialties. I saved thousands of dollars compared to what I’d have paid here in the US, and got a world-class result. I was so scared to do breasts implants and i will never thought i will do it in tj.but omg i had Sergery at 12 and i was aready walking out by 5. Dr Mauel did a wonderful job.i love my breast. Not in a lot of pain.i cant belive it. All the Dr there and the nurses where so sweet and the made shore to keep a eye on me. They realy kater to my needs. Commonly known as a Mastopexy, the breast lift is a surgical procedure to raise sagging breasts by modifying the contour and elevation. Breasts look saggy due to overstretched suspensory ligaments of cooper, excessive tissue, and skin. Lactation is also a cause of drooping breasts. During this procedure, a plastic surgeon removes excess skin and tighten the remaining tissue to create a more contoured and shapely breasts. Some patients may choose to have breast implants added as part of the procedure to give the breasts more volume.
After the surgery, you can expect to have round and elevated breasts. However, this surgery is not for everyone, you should talk to your doctor openly before opting for it. Your physical conditions and history are considered before going for surgery. Your surgeon will determine whether or not you are a good candidate for breast lift. For patients over the age of 40, a breast scan might be necessary.

Breast lift is a 2 to 3-hour procedure, after which you are moved from the operation theatre to a private recovery room. You are monitored for a few hours, and if everything goes fine you can go home on the same day, assuming no other surgeries were performed at the same time.
After being discharged from the hospital, you have to come for check-ups on a regular basis to ensure that nothing goes wrong. You should remain in Mexico for at least 7-10 days after the surgery. In this period, your incisions heal and stitches are removed. You can leave when told by your doctor.
What's the Recovery Time for Breast Lift Procedures in Mexico?
Plan to take 2 to 3 weeks off work for your breast lift surgery. There will be pain and swelling in the operated area and your breasts will appear swollen for almost 2 weeks. There will be redness and pain around your incisions. Your areola and nipple are likely to be numb for a few days.
In the early days, painkillers are given to help you with pain. You might have to wear surgical bras for 2 to 3 weeks, after which, you can wear regular bras. No underwire bras should be worn for at least 6 weeks.
What sort of Aftercare is Required for Breast Lift Procedures in Mexico?

Are there Alternatives to Breast Lift Procedures in Mexico?
The following are some non-surgical alternatives to breast lift surgery:
- Padded bras: padded bras or push up bras give a rounded contour to your breasts without incisions. Bras lift your breasts up eliminating the droopy appearance. However, this is not a permanent method.
- Vampire breast lift: in this procedure, platelet-rich plasma (PRP) injections are given which restore your bust. This is a 20-minute procedure in which a numbing cream is applied onto your breasts. After they go numb, PRP along with hyaluronic acid is injected into your breasts. It tightens your breasts and lifts them up. Hyaluronic acid increases the efficacy of PRP.
- Laser treatment: high power laser is used to stimulate the growth of collagen. It only targets the outer layers of skin. Hence, rejuvenating the skin only.
- Caci bust treatment: a device releasing electrical impulses is moved over your breasts. It hydrates your skin and gives strength to the tissue. Improving the contour of your breasts.
