If you need an ENT for a toddler or an adult this doctor is amazing! My 4 year old had recurring ear infections for months on end and the previous ENT kept prescribing the same antibiotics over and over and had no patience for children. Dr. Loy made my son feel at ease, calmly explained everything he would be doing and let him play with a toy car from his desk. This may not seem like a big deal, but the difference in bedside manner between our two doctors was huge. Not only is he kind, but he was very thorough. Found the problem and gave us a great non invasive prevention for further infection. We haven't had an infection since. When I came down with an ear infection, I also booked an appointment with him. Again, he was thorough in his exam, explains everything clearly, and his appointments seem to always run on time. I would recommend him over and over.
Dr Pang is an excellent ENT surgeon. He has done surgeries for two family members of mine and we are very thankful to have him with us throughout both journeys. Dr Pang has an excellent bedside manner and is so, so good with children. He accurately and very swiftly diagnosed the issue with my child and prescribed the right treatment options, which saw such a dramatic improvement in my child that it was almost unbelievable. We also truly appreciate Dr Pang for being very, very patient and friendly. His humour always saw us leaving his clinic in laughter... An impeccable gentleman indeed. When surgery became an option, he was able to explain very clearly the surgical procedures despite my many incessant questions. He was refreshingly honest and sincere with his advice. Throughout the journey with him, I felt that he treated my child like his own. The sincere and fatherly advice and treatment options were very much treasured.
+extremely well done alarplasty+patiently answers all questions+no hidden costs (everything included in the price they state - medicine, laser treatment, anaesthesia costs + free subsequent checkups)+much cheaper than other trusted plastic surgeonsThe only real negative is that my appointment always starts 1h - 1h30min late. So if your appt is at 1pm, you’ll only be seen at 2-2.30pm.
My ear is itchy for more than 6 years and was seeing different dr before. Recently got tinnitus as well. My general dr referred him to me. The service is very good, Dr Soh and the nurses are helpful, friendly and knowledgeable. After my first visit, my situation getting much better! Strongly recommend!
More than a year had passed, and I still fondly remember till this day.. the professionalism + tender care provided by Dr Tan & team~ It is hard to find the words to fully express how amazing I feel and how pleased I am. Appreciate it & thank you~Best wishes to everyone @ The Rhinoplasty Clinic and happy new year!
I’ve always accepted my droopy eyelids but since they’ve been feeling heavier and starting to affect my sight, I decided to get ptosis surgery. Dr Leo patiently gave me all the information I need, and felt assuring. True to his word, the surgery went smoothly and without complications. Thankful to the whole team!

Ear, nose, and throat, ENT for short or Otolaryngology, is a medical specialty that focuses on the care and treatment of the ears, nose, and throat. Physicians who specialized in ENT are called otolaryngologists or ENT doctors and are qualified and trained in both the medical and surgical management of the following conditions:
The procedures that ENT doctors perform include, but are not limited to:
Your length of stay depends on your condition and the type of treatment you underwent. For surgical procedures, you may need to stay in the hospital for a few days or you can leave the hospital immediately. However, it is advisable that you stay in Singapore for at least 2 weeks or until your ENT doctor says it is safe to travel home. This is because the change in the aircraft’s cabin pressure can cause problems with the surgical site. During your stay, you also need to attend a follow-up appointment where your doctor will remove the stitches (if necessary) and monitor your healing progress.
Your ENT doctor will give you a specific recovery timeline, including when you can resume your normal activity and return to work. In general, you need to avoid all activities that may increase blood pressure in your head area for at least 3 weeks. You also need to avoid strenuous activity for at least two weeks.
Your ENT doctor will give you instructions on how to protect the health of your ear, nose, and throat, as well as how to prevent your disease from reoccurring or complications. Make sure to follow all the instructions closely. Depending on your specific condition, you may be required to attend regular checkups. In most cases, you have the choice to have regular checkups with your local doctor at home or with your ENT doctor in Singapore.
The continuous advancement of ENT has increased the success rate of ENT procedures. While there are no general statistics for all ENT procedures, most procedures are proven to be safe and highly successful. For example, the success rate of tympanoplasty is around 90%. Risks and side effects of ENT procedures depend on the specific procedure and the health status of the patient. All surgical procedures generally carry the risk of bleeding, infection, and an adverse reaction to the anesthetic.
In most cases, there is no alternative to ENT when you have problems with your ear, nose, and throat. However, depending on your condition, your ENT doctor may work with or refer you to a relevant specialist.
Whilst the information presented here has been accurately sourced and verified by a medical professional for its accuracy, it is still advised to consult with your doctor before pursuing a medical treatment at one of the listed medical providers
