I would like to express my deep gratitude to our doctor Abdullah Çalik who operated on me and my sister. Almost a couple of months have passed since the operation, the result exceeded all our expectations! Rehabilitation is still in progress, but everything is going well and calmly. We also thank all the nurses for their warm care and attention to us. Special thanks and respect to the cool guy Furkan, who supported us both before and after operations, organizing everything we needed for comfortable movement, accommodation and a good mood. I had a very good experience with travel medi. In the beginning I was fearful of going all the way to turkey for my breast augmentation, but my travel coordinator Berat was wonderful, he answered all my questions promptly and he helped to turn my fear into excitement. Everything was very well organized from the transfers and hotel, to the pre and post op appointments to the surgery itself. The hotel location is excellent as everything you need is in walking distance and the area is one of the best and safest in Istanbul. Berat was always available if I had any questions, and I felt very looked after. Dr Esra Bilgen is very efficient and an excellent surgeon. She understood what I wanted immediately and she made recommendations according to her expertise. I felt that my surgery went very well, my results are amazing, and the pain has been very manageable with the medications prescribed. I did not even have any bruising with tells me that she is a very skilled and gentle surgeon. I definitely recommend travel medi, and if I ever have anything done in the future they will be my top choice.

Everything was done so professionally throughout the entire process, from start to (I haven't quite finished healing yet, but) finish. It was easy, calm, and reassuring dealing with all of the team. The hospital was beautiful, and the nursing and surgical team were faultless in their care. The hotel was also stunning, and the room service on their app was extremely useful for ordering with ease. The aftercare team has been wonderful, and have answered any questions I've had with understanding and care. I am only a week post surgery so far, but am very happy with my choice in using Dr Mehmet Ceber and Clinic team for my procedure.

I would like to say I had a wonderful experience at this clinic. They have arranged a pick up at a airport with a very luxurious Limousin. After that they took me too the hotel. 5 star Hotel is also very good and equipped with all facilities. Let's talk about surgery... Consultation was offered before the surgery, also the operation was carried out by very experienced staff. Doctors were very nice and supportive. I went through the surgery without any difficulties. Translator Mr. Hasan was also very helpful. He helped me explaining me everything about the surgery. And Ms. Turkan also helped me a lot to take care of all the Management related stuff. She is very helpful from beginning to the end. Surgery was flawless. Now fingers crossed to get my new hairline! 😊

I really felt the love, care, passion and professionalism from every person involved in this operation. Ms. Serenay(the owner of Medco Health) was with me in every step of the process and helped me a lot during my stay. I underwent rhinoplasty in June 2019. My coordinator was Yasin, and my doctor was Gürhan Özcan, both were excellent from start to finish. My nose was very bad, it was incredibly squint, with a peak in the middle. While it is not perfect now, which would have been impossible, its much better than I could have expected. Im very happy with the result. I would definitely recommend the people and the hospital.

В этом году планировал осуществить пересадку волос, посетил все известные клиники в Москве, но так и не решился делать операцию в России, потому что либо очень дорого ( берут оплату за количество пересаженных графтов, либо не хватает компетенции). Весной этого года был пролетом через Стамбул и был удивлён количеством людей с пересадкой волос, которые гуляли по городу с повязкой Clinicana. По возвращению начал мониторить данную клинику и вот в сентябре я сделал операцию. Результат можно будет увидеть позже, но могу сказать на счёт сервиса:1. Встретили нас в аэропорту, отвезли в клинику для сдачи анализов. Почему нас, потому что Клиника оплачивает проживание любого одного сопровождающего гостя, разместили нас в хорошем отеле в центре города)2. На второй день в течение 7 часов мне сделали операцию, с перерывом на обед;3. На третий день я уже гулял по городу, наслаждаясь видами Стамбула;4. На четвёртый день сняли бандаж и отвезли в аэропорт. Although it is the Covid 19 period, I thank you for the fact that the clinic is well equipped, and the employees are involved in such a period.I analyzed many places before hair transplantation and Dr. I decided that the lady of Melike was the best and I was operated here. Before the operation, Melike lady already provided detailed information about the whole process.I had an operation that lasted about 6 hours. All employees were really experienced and knowledgeable. I can recommend it to anyone with peace of mind.After the operation, they called me to the controls by calling me all the time. Now I am getting good results in the 9th month of October. What you need to know about Breast Reduction in Istanbul
Female Breast reduction (reduction mammoplasty), also known as Reduction Mammoplasty, is a surgical operation to reduce the weight and volume of the breasts. During the procedure, fat, glandular tissue and skin are removed from the breasts, which are then reshaped, and the nipples repositioned. The nipple-areola complex (NAC) is preserved to ensure that lactational ability is not affected. The mammoplasty is performed for three reasons, aesthetic, physical and psychological.
Breast size is determined by genes, hormones, body frame, and weight. For most women, breast size is proportionate to the body, but for some, the breasts are particularly large. Large breasts can cause physical symptoms such as discomfort, backache, neck pain, and skin irritations. Oversized breasts can also cause psychological distress. Common complaints from women with large breasts include not being able to wear fashionable clothes and finding it difficult to take part in active sports. In these cases, breast reduction surgery can be an option.
What does a Breast Reduction Procedure Involve?
The procedure begins with making you lay in the supine position. Anesthesia is given to avoid pain during surgery. The area is sterilized and an incision is given around the areola and down your breasts. The flap of skin containing areola and nipple is displaced and excessive fat, breast tissue, and skin are removed to lessen the size of your mammary gland. In the next step, breasts are reshaped, areola and nipples are again placed over the reduced breasts and stitches are given.
In some cases, when a large amount of tissue and fat is removed, skin flap with areola and nipples is detached and repositioned at a higher level according to the new size. Drainage tubes are inserted into the breasts to drain away blood and fluid. Bandages are applied over the stitched incisions. You are asked to wear a surgical bra. It is tried to make both breasts look alike; however, small variations in the size of breasts and areola can be there.
What about Breast Augmentation?
Breast augmentation might also be performed on women who suffer from a condition called macromastia. It can be due to various reasons such as hypertrophy of adipose tissue in the breast, after menopause, postpartum, genetics, etc. In this condition, your breasts are sagging, and their size is bigger in proportion to your body, causing a number of problems. A woman affected by macromastia suffers from pain in the head, neck, shoulders, and back. Blood circulation and respiration are also disturbed. Men who experience gynecomastia can also opt for breast reduction surgery.

What's the Recovery Time for Breast Reduction Procedures in Istanbul?
It takes several months for recovery from a breast reduction surgery. You cannot go to work for 1 to 2 weeks after the surgery. There will be pain and swelling in the initial days for which you are given some medicines. Avoid intensive physical activity for at least 1 month. You are asked not to wear underwire bras for a few months. You are allowed to wear a normal bra after 4 weeks. It takes 6 to 8 weeks for the swelling and tenderness to go away. Even after complete recovery, scars do not disappear. However, they are faded and become less visible. Changes continue to take place for a year after going through this surgery.
What sort of Aftercare is Required for Breast Reduction Procedures in Istanbul?
You should consider the following points to take care of yourself after surgery:
- Do come for regular check-ups.
- Take your medicines regularly, as and when prescribed by your physician.
- Make sure that someone lives with you to look after you.
