I highly recommend Foremedi to anyone. They are a group of professionals (surgeon, hospital staff, patient coordinator/translator ) extremely proficient in what they do. I had done my research prior to choosing Foremedi and their responsiveness, honesty, professionalism prior to my trip to Antalya convinced me that they are a trusted group. From the moment I arrived to Antalya, I was greeted by a proficient English speaking patient coordinator who had arranged for blood and other tests prior to my surgery. He guided me to all those appointments without any waiting or delays. I was then transported in a luxury Mercedes van to the hotel. A very nice beach front hotel in great location, about 15 minutes away from the hospital and about 5 minutes away from the surgeon’s office/clinic. On the day of surgery, I got picked up promptly and once again greeted by very kind and knowledgeable patient coordinator (Mr. Chatai). The pre surgery process was very thorough and perfectly on time. After the surgery, I stayed one night at the hospital and the nurses/staff were very attentive. They even used Google translator to communicate with me. I got excellent care over night and discharged the next day. The patient coordinator was perfectly on time to pick me up, even filled my prescription and I was dropped off to the hotel. At the hotel, he was in constant communication with me and the surgeon to ensure that there weren’t any problems. I was picked up two days after the surgery to meet the surgeon in his office. He removed the bandages and kindly updated me that all is well. The surgeon spoke great English too. I barely felt that I was getting a procedure in a foreign country. They made everything so smooth and accommodating. They exceeded all my expectations. I am extremely pleased and will definitely go back for any needed plastic surgery. Bravo Foremedi

I would like to express my deep gratitude to our doctor Abdullah Çalik who operated on me and my sister. Almost a couple of months have passed since the operation, the result exceeded all our expectations! Rehabilitation is still in progress, but everything is going well and calmly. We also thank all the nurses for their warm care and attention to us. Special thanks and respect to the cool guy Furkan, who supported us both before and after operations, organizing everything we needed for comfortable movement, accommodation and a good mood. From getting off the plane in Izmir to being taken to our hotel for recuperation, the whole experience was one of undivided attention and care. The surgeon saw me every day at, or before 9am. Meds were given on time and we were checked upon in our room frequently.

I would like to say that you can easily go to this hospital in July 2019 as a person who has been operated by Dr. Cengiz teacher and his team, he came up to my dressing and did it himself. Cleanliness, food, nurse ladies' attention was exactly as it should be. I also thank my infection control nurse, maybe she will see it here :)

В этом году планировал осуществить пересадку волос, посетил все известные клиники в Москве, но так и не решился делать операцию в России, потому что либо очень дорого ( берут оплату за количество пересаженных графтов, либо не хватает компетенции). Весной этого года был пролетом через Стамбул и был удивлён количеством людей с пересадкой волос, которые гуляли по городу с повязкой Clinicana. По возвращению начал мониторить данную клинику и вот в сентябре я сделал операцию. Результат можно будет увидеть позже, но могу сказать на счёт сервиса:1. Встретили нас в аэропорту, отвезли в клинику для сдачи анализов. Почему нас, потому что Клиника оплачивает проживание любого одного сопровождающего гостя, разместили нас в хорошем отеле в центре города)2. На второй день в течение 7 часов мне сделали операцию, с перерывом на обед;3. На третий день я уже гулял по городу, наслаждаясь видами Стамбула;4. На четвёртый день сняли бандаж и отвезли в аэропорт. Her konuda uzmanlığına ve profesyonelliğine güvendiğim doktorların olduğu hastane. Bugüne kadar hangi konuda gittiysem, çok kısa sürede olumlu sonuçlar aldım. Sadece kendim için değil ailem, arkadaşlarım ve tüm sevdiklerimi yönlendirdiğim tek hastane. Başka bir hastanede çektirdiğim Mamogrofiyi , burda tekrar çektirmek zorunda kaldım ve içim rahat etti. Dahiliye doktorumuz Dr. Faik Akvardar, hem ablamın hem kızımın mide kaynaklı problemlerini kısa sürede çözdü. Şu an piyasada çok büyük hastaneler var ama biz kendimizi burda güvende hissediyoruz. What you need to know about Labiaplasty in Turkey
Cosmetic surgery offers you a wide range of choices for different types of procedures that can be performed on parts of a person’s body that require some aesthetic enhancements. Today even a woman’s genital area may also go through a cosmetic enhancement procedure.
Also referred to as the Designer vagina, Labia minora reduction, Labial reduction, and Vulval Surgery, Labiaplasty is a plastic surgery procedure that trims the length of a woman’s labia minora. It is the most common vaginal rejuvenation procedure performed on women.
Surgery typically results in a shorter labia that no longer hangs down below the level of the hair-bearing labia majora. Having noticeable skin folds around the opening of the vagina is completely normal. However, excess skin can get pinched or twisted, making some women feel uncomfortable during physical activities, exercise, and intercourse. In this case, labiaplasty can be a treatment option. Moreover, the procedure can also be done for cosmetic reasons for those who don't like the appearance of their labia. It might also be done as part of gender-affirming surgery.
Most patients take a week off from work to recover from any side effects, during which they can reduce swelling and pain by icing. While the most distorting swelling is gone by 6 weeks, residual swelling may take six months to disappear.
What does a Labiaplasty Procedure Involve?
Some of the most common reasons women undergo labiaplasty are as follows:
- Pain during sexual intercourse, if they get tucked into your vaginaIrritation and discomfort while wearing underwear or swimsuit
- Discomfort while walking or doing your regular activities
- Physical discomfort (e.g. rashes, infections, chafing) due to its shape and size
According to some research, most women actually experience low self-esteem and embarrassment due to their asymmetrical, large and/or unusual shape vagina. As a result, these women tend to refrain from sexual intercourse and from wearing tight clothing or bathing suits. For women who consider having a labiaplasty, ideal candidates for this type of surgical cosmetic procedure are:
- Those who do not smoke
- Those who have overall good health
- And those who have realistic expectations from labiaplasty
A labiaplasty is not advisable for younger girls who are below eighteen years old. This is because their labia may still continue to grow and develop from puberty into their early adulthood.
While there isn’t really a medical guide as to what is the standard length for a labia, what women know is based on what they see online or what they see from other women is that, labia minora is typically tucked inside the labia majora. Furthermore, there are natural causes that affect the appearance of your labia, these are common:
- Genetics
- Pregnancy
- Natural aging process
Once you have decided to undergo the procedure, the first thing that you should do is to schedule a consultation. During your initial consultation, your surgeon will discuss the actual procedure, expected results, possible risks and side effects. Your surgeon will also need to examine your genitals while you’re positioned in stirrups, you may also be given a hand mirror while your surgeon discusses your anatomy and your expected outcome.
There are two types of Labiaplasty procedure:
- Trim labiaplasty - also known as edge incision, linear and amputation labiaplasty. This type of labiaplasty procedure is a good choice for women who don't like their thick, dark pigmented and rough-edged labia. This is also the most common labiaplasty procedure. In trim technique, an incision will be done to remove the outer edges of your inner labia; doing so will trim away the dark parts of your labia.
- Wedge labiaplasty - this is an alternative to the trim technique. During this type of procedure, your surgeon will remove a “V” shaped wedge from both sides of your labia and then stitch both sides together. A wedge labiaplasty, however, often leaves the dark part of your labia intact; this is usually not a good choice for most women.
This type of procedure can be done under either local anesthesia with oral sedation or under general anesthesia. In addition, your incisions will be closed with sutures.
How Long Should I Stay in Turkey for a Labiaplasty Procedure?
A Labiaplasty can be an outpatient procedure if you have undergone the procedure using local anesthesia you may be allowed to go back to your hotel after your surgery. However, if you have been under general anesthesia, you will have to stay at least twenty-four hours in the hospital. Follow up checkups with your surgeon are very important to monitor and assess your recovery and healing. Furthermore, your stitches will be removed after a few days, depending on how your wounds are healing. You should expect to stay in Turkey at least 7-10 days post-op.
What's the Recovery Time for Labiaplasty Procedures in Turkey?
Pain and discomfort are to be expected during the first few days after your surgery, you will be given pain medications. Usually, most patients take a week off from work while they recover from the surgery. You may go back to your normal daily routines, including exercise after a month.
What sort of Aftercare is Required for Labiaplasty Procedures in Turkey?
While you are recovering, it is advisable that you wear mini pads with loose and comfortable pants while you still experience some minor bleeding. To reduce your swelling and pain within the first week, your surgeon may advise you to apply ice wrapped in a towel “twenty-minutes on and twenty minutes off” or you may also be advised to lie with your bottom elevated to help reduce the swelling.
You will also be instructed not to use tampons during your first period after your surgery. Sexual intercourse must also be strictly avoided within the first four to six weeks.
What's the Success Rate of Labiaplasty Procedures in Turkey?
Labiaplasty has a high success rate of over 90%, women who have undergone this type of cosmetic procedure were recorded to be very happy and satisfied with the end results. Studies show that these women have experienced a boost in their self-esteem, following their labia minora reduction procedure.
However, just like any type of surgery, a labiaplasty also poses some risks and side effects. While these risks and side effects may only happen on a rare occasion, becoming aware of the following is still necessary:
- Bleeding
- Infection
- Scarring of tissue
- Reduced sensitivity of the genitals
- Allergic reaction to the anesthetic
- A blood clot in a vein during the surgery
Are there Alternatives to Labiaplasty Procedures in Turkey?
While cosmetic surgeries on the female genitals have increased over the years, not all women are actually brave enough to go under the knife to improve their physical appearance. Given our technological medical advancements, we now have some non-invasive alternatives to labiaplasty:
