Other than international accreditation organization, India also has its own accreditation bodies, including the Indian Healthcare Federation, the Indian Medical Tourism Council, the Ministry of Health and Family Welfare, as well as the National Accreditation Board for Hospitals & Healthcare Providers (NABH). Tourists from all over the world, particularly those from Europe and Middle Eastern countries, are traveling to India for its low-cost medical procedures.
