Tunisia is located in the Maghreb region of North Africa and the country is widely known for its golden beaches, sunny weather, and affordable luxuries. With its high standard of healthcare and an exceptional reputation for cosmetic surgery, it successfully attracts thousands of medical tourists every year. The Tunisian Ministry of Health regulates the country’s cosmetic and plastic surgeons. The private hospitals are armed with cutting-edge technology, English-speaking medical professionals, and affordable prices. Many of the medical tourists come to the country for breast augmentation procedures. These medical tourists are mostly from Europe and neighboring African countries that have a lower standard of the healthcare system.
One of the most popular destinations both for its medical destination and beautiful attractions in Tunis, Tunisia’s capital. The City is divided into two parts the medina and the new city (Ville Nouvelle), many tourists visit this city to see the Archaeological Site of Carthage. The city is also filled with beautiful Islamic architecture. To see a beautiful desert oasis, the city of Tozeur is the right place to visit as it was a place to rest and refuel for caravans crossing the Sahara. Another popular destination is Sousse, which is located on the coast of the Mediterranean Sea. Here, tourists can enjoy beaches with clear blue sea and visit Sousse Archeological Museum to see the second largest collection of mosaics in the world. For those who want to experience more of Tunisia’s wonderful beaches, visit Hammamet as it is the country’s original tourism resort with sandy beaches, beautiful gardens, and interesting history.
The main gateway to Tunisia is the Tunic-Carthage International Airport, which connects the country to numerous major European countries and the Middle East. Taking a domestic flight is a great option to travel around the country. Trains and long-distance buses are also available and provide a more affordable way of travel.
