Arm liposuction is a targeted fat removal procedure performed to eliminate excessive fat concentrated in the arm area that is hard to eliminate by exercise or diet. - Triceps region – this is the most common treatment area of arm liposuction. The main aim of arm liposuction in this region is to reduce the weight of the arm, which in turn will significantly reduce the flabby appearance of the area, giving it a reshaped and more toned look.
- Anterior axillary fat pad – also known as the breast tail, an anterior axillary fat pad can be found in front of your underarms, just in front of the armpit. These fat pads can bulge unflatteringly above a fitting bra.
- Posterior axillary fat pad – also known as the bra line, posterior axillary fat pad is situated behind your underarms just behind the armpit on the side of the back. Some women found these fat pads as a cosmetic problem.
The axillary regions (anterior axillary fat pad and posterior axillary fat pad) need to be addressed in conjunction with the triceps region to avoid an awkward appearance, particularly when you wear snug garments like a bra.
